Please be aware that all resources to support the Welfare
requirements are under review following the publication of the
revised EYFS 2012.

The welfare consultants focus on the welfare requirements of the
Early Years Foundation Stage and provide settings with an
understanding of the legal requirements set out in the Statutory
Framework for the EYFS.
Our aim is to ensure providers create
environments which are welcoming, safe and stimulating, and where
children are able to enjoy learning through play, to grow in
confidence and to fulfil their potential.
These pages should provide settings with an
overview of each Welfare Requirement and the subsections they
should have regard to, including supporting materials which
providers can use to develop their own templates for relevant
documentation.
All the documents on these pages are for
reference only and providers are encouraged to use the information
as a basis to develop their own materials.

ISA Referral
Guidance
The Independent Safeguarding Authority have recently release
guidance on making referrals to the ISA, the guidance will help you
to understand your duties under the Safeguarding vulnerable Groups
Act 2006, understand the referral policies and processes and
